By intertwining the mythical Luan bird with the concept of time, Chronoplume employed the fusion of dance choreography and digital art techniques to craft a virtual time art piece.
I created twelve improvised dance sequences and captured them using Kinect+DepthKit technology to generate a series of dynamic 3D model sequences.

I found inspiration in the mythical Luanverdor from Shan Hai Jing and traditional Chinese concepts of time: the twelve earthly branches and the sundial. These elements symbolize the rhythm and order of life, nature, and the universe. I aimed to merge celestial elegance with the passage of time, creating a harmonious exploration of life's essence through artistic expression.

I used my own body as a medium to express mythical stories and imagery through physical movement and gestures. I have crafted twelve improvisational dance segments, giving rise to the concept of "Twelve Luanverdor Hours."
I utilized the Kinect Azure to capture the continuous body language during my improvisational dance, employing DepthKit software for processing. This resulted in a series of dynamic 3D model sequences.
Then they underwent 3D processing, design, and material creation using C4D, transforming into a collection of static/dynamic sculptures representing a new mythology.
